Wiltshire at Gaza 1917: The Experiences of a Battalion during World War I

This is an exhibition that is been held by The Rifles Berkshire and Wiltshire Museum in Salisbury, Wiltshire from February 1st to November 30th, 2017. This is an exhibition that narrates the event of the 3rd battle of Gaza in the Middle East. The event was actually narrated by the 1st/4th Battalion of the Wiltshire Regiment who were asked to leave Pakistan in March 1917 during the war. This exhibition tries to tell each person’s personal experience in the war that was hardly documented.

Marvelous Monsters

This is an exciting exhibition that is been held by Longleat. It is an exhibition of a swarm of colossal bugs, bees, ladybirds, beautiful British butterflies, orchid mantis, the puss moth caterpillar and a whip scorpion. The aim of this exhibition is to expose the guests to the true beauty of these creatures and give them an opportunity to make contact with these beautiful creatures. It is a form of a workshop that aims at revealing to the guest the advantages of the bug population and the need to encourage a rich insect population. It starts from 8th April to 29th October 2017.

The Swindon Museum and art Gallery

This is an exhibition by Swindon museum & art gallery. The aim of this exhibition is to bring and show some of the top earliest and most important ceramics worksSwindon had ever produced which include the beautiful works of Hans Coper, Lucy Rie, Ray Finch and a lot of other amazing works by great artists. The exhibition starts from 19th July to 18th November 2017. The museum opens Wednesday to Saturday from 11 am to 3 pm.

The Festival of Textiles is a festival that is held to celebrate contemporary, regional textile artists through the exhibition of their works in order to promote textile production in the West.
