TANKMOD

The third edition of the Tank Museum’s model exhibition TANKMOD, will be held on 7 October, 2017. From military models and motor racing cars to planes and boats, there will be loads to see and if you are really interested in creating your own scale model, there will be volunteer modellers on hand to advise you on how to get it done. It really is a priceless opportunity to learn valuable tips and tricks for making your own miniature.

Enchanted Floodlit Gardens, Abbotsbury

Stroll the paths around the ‘Long Walk’, the lily ponds, and the Pavilion at the Abbotsbury Subtropical Gardens as the annual illuminations brighten up the place with gorgeous lights and colours. You can take a shorter route which is also perfect for wheelchairs. Look out for the stunning old wall for the Pavilion that will be lit by the candles burning in its every nook and cranny. The exhibition will be open until 8.30pm from 12 to 29 October, 2017.

Bournemouth Arts by the Sea Festival

From 14 to 21 October, the Bournemouth Arts by the Sea Festival will be on, featuring a rich mix of international, national, and regional arts. There will be diverse music, literature, spoken word, visual arts, performance, theatre, film, and dance.
